CCMX OFFICIAL RULES

Our mission is to provide a safe racing experience, in a family friendly, drug free environment for racers of all ages and riding abilities to enjoy. Entrants, riders , and participants are required to know and understand the rules and regulations that cover a CCMX sanctioned event and are (by reason of their entry) definitely bound by such. Each participant has the responsibility to assess the safety aspects of track facilities and conditions, and must assume the risks associated with competition.

MEMBERSHIP


1. All riders who wish to be eligible for year end Championship Awards or benefits must be a member.
2. CCMX memberships are not mandatory for all riders. An additional fee will applied for non-members.
3. The 2005 dues will be $30.00.
4. All membership cards will be filled out by CCMX or event sponsors.
5. The application for membership should be sent to CCMX or left with event sponsor for pick up.
6. When a rider loses or ruins (washes) his membership card, he/she is to send written notice to CCMX, who will
then check to see if the rider is a member. CCMX will then send a replacement card with an “R” in front of the number. There will be a five dollar charge for this. The rider may also purchase one at the track with proof of the original membership, or by checking CCMX files. Riders woho fail to bring CCMX cards on practice days will be charge $5 for staff to confirm their membership.
7. Any rider may be required to show proof of age up request of CCMX staff. Riders who fail to provide such information may face suspension or be refused to participate in a CCMX promoted event.

GENERAL RULES

1. A physical attack on a track official or club member by a rider or his/her family and/ or pit crew will result in a $100.00 fine and immediate suspension.
2. Each rider is responsible for the actions of his/her family and pit crew. Unnecessary trouble caused by a rider, his/her family, or pit crew will make that rider subject to disqualification for that day’s event. If the condition so warrants, CCMX has the right to determine further sanctions against the individual or individuals. Any decision made by CCMX may be appealed to CCMX in written form.
3. All youth riders must have a notarized statement of authorization naming the “authorized adult” if parent or legal guardian is not present. The parent or guardian must be present at all times during the meet.
4. Those found to be detrimental to the sport will be refused service. Any and all complaints will be handled in a civil manner.

Tech inspections.
Bikes 250cc and above must be 96 db. If a bike is tested and the muffling equipment is removed, or a bike later sounds out of measure, the bike will be removed from the track and retested. This applies to bikes at the starting line. If found to be out of measure you can be disqualified for the days competitioin.

No Pit Riding

1. All dogs must be on a leash
2. CCMX reserves the right to refuse entry to any person.
3. No refunds or rainchecks will be made once racing begins.
4. Anyone soliciting or distributing literature on the race grounds must first get permission from CCMX.
5. No race participant shall consume alcohol or any illegal substance.
6. CCMX staff and riders engaged in competition will be the only individuals allowed on the track at any given time. All spectators will observe from the grandstands or behind appropriate fence lines.

RULES FOR COMPETITION

1. A race may be stopped and restarted only due to a gate malfunction or rider safety issue. Any restart shall be at the discretion of the race starter or track side official. A race shall be deemed final if 50% or more of the laps are completed.
2. A lapped rider must move over at all times or be penalized at the discretion of CCMX.
3. Any unsafe & intentional hitting or bumping, taking out, or unsafe riding that is deemed dangerous by CCMX, will be grounds for disqualification or penalized as deemed appropriate. Un-sportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
4. Gates may not be saved prior to the rider being called to the gate by the starter.
5. Any rider found riding his machine before signing up will be disqualified for the day.
6. The machine qualified or used in the first moto, must be used for all motos in that event. Anyone riding under a fictitious name, or riding under another's name or in place of another rider shall be disqualified from all events entered, and suspended from further competition with CCMX. No one except officially entered riders may ride or practice on the racecourse during the day’s event.
7. It is the rider’s responsibility to be at the line for the start of his or her event. The starter will signal for the riders to get ready for the start once he has determined that the race can start safely, and may, at his sole discretion, hold a start for no more than 2 minutes for a rider experiencing mechanical difficulties.
8. If a rider leaves the course during a race for any reason he/she must re-enter at the point of exit. If it is unsafe or impossible to re-enter at the point of exit, the rider may re-enter the track at the next safe place as long as said rider does not improve his/her position. Any rider caught cutting the track will be penalized.

9. You must complete one lap more than half of the race for your points to be considered for final standing.
10. There are no tie breakers! In the event of a tie at the end of the season, the final standing for the first race of the year will be used as a tie
breaker.
